Nothing To See Here Today, Except A Blue Cat

Normally, I blog every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, except when I don't. Today is one of those days where there's nothing to see here, except a blue cat. I'm busy working on a secret project and need to stay focused today, so to keep you amused in the meantime, here's a photo of a blue cat from the Andy Warhol exhibit I saw while I was in Portland.

What's on your To Do List today? Do you like Andy Warhol's work? What's your favorite cat (or dog or other furry animal) name?

Thanks for stopping by our blog - we love it when people come visit! We're also on Facebook - pop by and say hi!

    1. I know - my schedule is just overloaded with napping, snacking and doing crossword puzzles. It's a wonder I even find time to shower.

    1. I should probably clarify that secret doesn't necessarily equate to exciting :-)

  3. Today is finish up the laundry day after being at the boat for a long weekend. I'm guessing your day will be more exciting.

My favorite name for a dog is Little Bit. We had her for almost 13 years. We miss her so.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

    1. Aww...Little Bit sounds like she was a very special dog.

  4. We have two cats. One is a huge black tuxedo cat with long hair named Mr. Mistoffelees because he survived on his own for so many years. The other is a one-year-old short-haired silver blue cutie named Dove. Mr. M recently ate a real dove. I hope he wasn't trying to send us a metaphorical message.

    1. I love the name Mr. Mistoffelees! And the story about Mr. M eating a dove is hysterical :-)

  5. I'm with Lucy. This retirement gig is so time consuming that I'm way too busy to make plans. I do, however, hope to get some laundry done today if I can squeeze it in between wasting time on the internet and eating copious amounts of ice cream (I'm still mourning the election) . . . I'm not optimistic.

    1. I know what you and Lucy mean. How did I ever get anything done when I was working full-time?

  6. I've decided not to be a slave to my blog. On the agenda for today was to visit my daughter and touch up some damage her white cat has made to the wall of the flat. They are moving out soon so they want to try and get all their deposit back. Mission accomplished. Hopefully the landlord won't notice too much damage.

    1. Fortunately, I don't feel like a slave to the blog. Generally, I enjoy blogging three times a week and don't have a problem finding the time to do so. Fingers crossed the landlord doesn't notice the damage.

  7. LOL. Except when you don't. My mom is coming into town tomorrow, so I want to be doing what you're doing, but I still need to be online too...which is all kinds of frustrating. Why must hosting be so stressful?

    1. You've got so much on with your book release and blog tour. Not sure how you're managing to pull it off. Must be eating a lot of cheese :-)

  8. Well, a blue cat is worth seeing! Our first cat was called Purdy by her previous owner because she was "off like a shot" - though spelling wasn't her strongpoint and I believe the shotgun is a Purdey. Our second cat was called Sally because John liked the name Sarah and I said we couldn't possibly call a cat Sarah.

    1. Great cat names! I'm with you on naming a cat Sarah. I don't know why but it would seem strange to call out, "Suppertime, Sarah!" Maybe it's because I know too many human Sarahs.

  9. Woohoo for secret projects! I hope you have a lot of success with it. And that cat looks rather happy for being so blue. *giggle*

  10. I have the same blogging schedule and it is not always easy to stick to. There are so many other projects to work on, secret or not! Curious about yours, though!

    1. Usually it isn't a problem to stick to the schedule and it's something I enjoy making time for, but with my "secret" project on, some things have to give :-)

  11. Ha ha! That's a good one. I am participating in NaBloPoMo and posting every day in November. So that tops that chart for me.

  12. I've been traveling, so sometimes I can't even get my once a week post up on Friday. Retirement is definitely busy and fulfilling! Good luck with your secret project!

    1. When we're traveling it's difficult for us to post regularly as well, especially when we can't get WiFi.

  13. I saw on a Facebook post, that someone had named their boat cat, "Gilligan". I thought that was an awesome name. Our Gus could definitely be a Gilligan, but Else would qualify for "Mrs. Howell", given her attitude and all.
